Premium Scrap Metal Indenting
Structured indenting support between international scrap suppliers and industrial buyers, covering specification alignment, offer presentation and commercial coordination.

What indenting means in practice
In an indenting arrangement, AceComex works between a supplier and a buyer to bring an enquiry to a point where both parties can transact on clearly understood terms. The material remains the supplier's, the purchase remains the buyer's, and the value added is in accurate presentation, disciplined follow-through and realistic expectation setting.
Indenting suits suppliers who prefer to retain the commercial relationship with the consumer, and buyers who want offers filtered and properly described before they commit review time.
What the service covers
Specification alignment
Translating a supplier's material description into terms a consumer can evaluate against their own input standards.
Offer presentation
Presenting quantity, packing, origin, loading port and evidence in a consistent, reviewable format.
Counterparty coordination
Managing questions, clarifications and follow-up between the parties so enquiries do not stall.
Inspection planning
Helping the parties agree what evidence or inspection is appropriate before loading.
Documentation flow
Keeping track of the documents each side expects, and when they are due.
Realistic filtering
Declining to progress enquiries that are unlikely to complete, rather than consuming both parties' time.
Suitable for
- Processors with consistent monthly tonnage seeking new consuming outlets
- Yards producing specification-grade non-ferrous material
- Consumers seeking additional origin options for regular input material
- Traders wanting structured presentation of an available package
FAQs
Frequently asked questions
- Does AceComex take ownership of the material under indenting?
- Not usually. Under an indenting arrangement the commercial contract is generally between the supplier and the buyer. Where a direct trading structure is more appropriate, that is discussed separately.
- How is indenting remunerated?
- Commercial terms are agreed case by case with the relevant party before an enquiry is progressed, and confirmed in writing.
